The only suggestions for improvement I have are the aforementioned speed, making, maybe, some more choices for what you can build and allowing us to zoom in on the playing field so you can get a better view of what everyone is doing. Though they've 'improved' the ones after this, this one holds my attention better and is fun to play without getting too hectic and making you snarl. I've played all the ones in this 'series' and this one is actually my favorite. Like most of what Alawar puts out, it's good. Overall, this is a great game that gets a big thumbs up from me. Though I like the scenery! It's soothing and very fitting. They aren't nearly as impressive as what is out there for some games. The graphics could be better the same with what the buildings look like. That's almost the same looking, something that doesn't help. There needs to be a better way to tell what you own and what you don't. My eyesight isn't the best, even with the huge monitor, so the tiny people and other things are a bit hard to see at times. The playing field needs enlarged a bit to get a better view. If you could make those easier, it would be far better. It's the same for grabbing money from the ones you can do that with. The 'intruder' is a little hard to get rid of as he moves while you keep clicking, sometimes vanishing behind things to reappear. I also like that you can line up the tasks. I do like that they show the progression of what their doing so you know how long it takes. One of which is the builders take too long to both get there and build or renovate. It's soothing and doesn't distract from what you're doing or make you feel harried like some do. That can easily be improved.įourth, the sounds aren't annoying! In fact, I really like them, especially the background ambient music. But what is there for the buildings and such is almost retro looking and flat compared to the life-like backgrounds. I actually like the way they show the building as it's unique compared to what else is out there. Not great, but good enough to not be annoying. Which is good! I play enough of these that finding ones that are a challenge to work with is great. There is one level, I can't remember which one, that I just can't hit gold on no matter what I do. Even on the lower levels, it's hard to hit gold. Yes! A building/tycoon/time management game! And it's a good one that I lost when I got the new computer.įirst out of the gate, it installs and runs fine on Win7 Home Premium service pack whateveritis.
